CASTLE BOSKOVICE
The Castle Boskivece with a height of 448m above sea level dominates the town of Boskovice. First written history of the castle can be dated back to 1312. In 1991 the castle was return in restitution to the Mensdorff-Pouilly family and is open to the public for viewing.

CHATEAU BOSKOVICE
On the site of the Chateau Boskovice, once stood a Domincan monastary. Frantisek Xaver Dietrichstein commisioned the conversion of the monastary into a chateau. Reconstruction lasted 8 years (1818 – 1826) and once complete the result was one of the most charming Empire chateaus in Moravia. The Chateau Boskovice was returned in restitution to the Mensdorff-Pouilly family and is open to the public for viewing.

HISTORICAL SITES
In the area of Boskovice you can find many well known historical sites such as the chateaus in Lysice or Rajec-Jestrebi, which are both open for public viewing. There is also the Castle in Blansko which is used as museum.

The chasm called Macocha is one of the most famous, beautiful areas in Moravia. It is one of the largest complexes of limestone caves and chasms in Central Europe.
